The summer of Lake Powell
Hello family and friends. I am taking time out from my busy summer to start a blog about ME and my very interesting life. It is interesting of course if you are a Lake Powell enthusiast. I have logged many miles between my home base of St. George and the Baja Cantina with my ski boat in tow and a car full of Costco goodies. I have done my best to support the oil barons and their ever increasing gas prices. It has all been worth it. I have witnessed many joyful faces as they've skimmed across the water for their first time on skis or a wakeboard. With my spf 50 sunscreen, I have braved the hot summer sun to bring happiness and awe inspiring memories into the lives of my many guests who have traveled from afar to witness the splendor of this remarkable canyon. This was an exceptional year. I recently learned of a dinosaur footprint at Rainbow Bridge, hiked to Choal Waterfalls on my birthday where we followed wild Mustangs. On a later trip with the Albrechts, we saw the famous Lake Powell Beaver in West Canyon. (still no rattlesnakes although sightings have been reported) Here are a few pictures I would like to share of another marvelous summer at the LAKE!
